As an employer, Heembouw does not wait for employees to call in sick due to physical strain. All employees who have missed work due to backpain have received training by STEP and for those who still become absent due to backpain we start a personalized program. Included in this program is training on the job so that safe posture becomes a second nature. An added benefit to this approach is the fact that employees are aware of their own posture and encourage safe body-use in one another.
